On Answerbag 2.0, comments are voluntary, so users can assign low ratings anonymously. Is this an improvement or a bad idea?

    It is a bad idea because you to need know why your answer was deemed incorrect; in order, to correct it.

    Anonymous low ratings have ruined a number of good sites by allowing those with out a life or a clue to give themselves fine ratings and drive off the good people. Those that knowingly give good answers, bad ratings need to crawl back under their rock.

    I can only add more of the same. I have given very correct technical answers and had them rated incorrect. I can see somebody not finding them useful, but to rate them incorrect without a reason is B.S.
