Traditionally, a hockey stick is made from wood covered with fiberglass. Todays modern sticks are composite materials which are generally lighter and stronger. Due to the varying weight of sticks, there is no one best material. You should choose a stick based on a weight that is comfortable for you as an individual.

carbon is the best componant for stick composition, but full carbon is too stiff and will break easier than others. best option is carbon core, kevlar for durability and aramid for added strength

My stick is fully fiber glass, light to medium weight and is the best for belting the ball!

My Brine stick is composite which is much better than wood. Wood splinters off and eventually breaks. Composite is much stronger and lasts a long time.
