DXM is a LEGAL substance and will not get you in trouble. Dextromethorphan can SOMETIMES show a false-positive for PCP but this happens on much larger doses. Regardless, it is not a good idea to have a drug test if you have been under the influence of any recreational drug in a while.

If you did DXM that day, then it will most likely show up as PCP or cocaine and not as DXM unless you're getting specifically tested for DXM. Other than that, DXM is out of your system pretty quick.

No man it does not show up on a drug test. It isnt even tested for enless your sample gets sent to the lab, but even then it is legal and you could just say you had a cough. I have takin a drug test the mourning after I tripped DXM and nothing showed up. I really dont think it can show up as PCP either considering they are completely different chemicals. But who knows maybe if you took like 1000 miligrams and then 3 hours later had a drug test than it may be possible, but that will most likely not be the case. I love DXM man keep trippin!

Like 420chanAnon stated, it can show up as a false positive for PCP, but if they do a complete chemical breakdown you should be able to prove it was only DXM. If it's been over 3 days you have nothing to worry about anyway.

NO, it DOES NOT. Not only once, but 2 times, I have been trippin WHILE I took the test after trippin for 2 days straight. My piss was FIZZING and still, didn't come up positive for anything. And PCP is one of the drugs that the test covers, and nope, nothing. So I dont think you need to worry at all about your exploits being detected, lol. Keep on trippin!

It could show up for PCP and/or opiates. It hasn't been proven that everybody that does it will fail a drug test of not.

Well first of all, dxm(hydrobrobide)alone, or as i like to call it, robo(short for robotussin), doesn't show up in you're system. I was getting tested for drugs in thue mental health section of the hospital and were given periodic drug test. I spent 3 months there and i "robotripped", 1-2 bottles each time on 2 occasions. I was so hopped up on valium they were feeding me i can't remember how long it was before my drug test was exactly after that my test was run, but it only showed up for weed(because i was smoking weed regularly). No other toxins were found. Needless to say, never do dxm in a mental institution, each time i did it the emergency alarms colors went off on the PA and the sirens shouted "code red" the first time and "code white" the second time. It freaked me out. Talk about paranoid that they monitored my purchase at the hospital pharmasave and were trying to freak me the fuck out. Or was there actually a fire. I guess i'll never know, hiding under my sheets in that room number i'll never forget.

Redwood Laboratories offers a cheap urine test that will show whether DXM was used within the past 72 hours.
