Ladies: If you were to buy a summer designer dress for a very special occasion, which designer's would be and what color/s. Please explain.

I would probably buy a dolce and gabanna or a banana republic. In white,blue or red.Personally if the dress looks good on me and it's not any kind of color I usually like,I would probably buy it.

I dont know. Depends on the occasion. What I mean is, I never think about what im going to shop. just where. that is why my mom, sister, cousin, aunts, and grandma all hate shopping with me. (They are really classy though, and wear adorabe clothes. I borrow them constantly. It is only the fact that I am an impulsive shopper. I dont shop that much, but when i see something i like I just by it. BTW... I just like perfect clothes. That is why I dont shop that much. LOL) WELL ANYWAYS For a lunch or brunch I would by a mini yellow floral dress by banana republic. The flowers have to be the perfect size, shape, color cordination, and pattern. FOr a night event I would by a green mini by BCBG.

I'd be more concerned about how the dress made me look than which designer. You can have a fabulous designer, but the dress not fit your body type in the least. Take a look at these two pages. I like Galliano's work, so it would probably be one of his. If I have time at hand, I would design it myself and get it made as I cant sew.
