I try not to get too worked up about it, because I sometimes do the opposite....yeah, I use "you're" when I should use "your."

    "Welcome to you're 'DOOM!'"

The misuse of "your" and "you're" grates on me.

Likewise the misuse of "too", "two", and "to" bothers me as does the misuse of "their", "there", and "they're".

There are many things in this world to be irritated by and this is not one of them.

Not really, my husband makes that mistake everytime he types o_o

What makes me mad is when they type 'ur' not even trying to get it right.

The other day a girl wrote a poem and asked for it to be critiqued, she spelt you as 'yeu' everytime. And when i pointed it out she was like 'i had trouble with that!'

It does, but I kinda let it go, here. Too many other courtries whose first language isn't English, too many kids (14 and up), too many people who never really learned, to let it get on my nerves here.

So cringe and let it go. ;-)

Not really. It does make me wonder if they know the difference, and why not. To me it's a failure of the school system, so I can't fault the user.

Sometimes. It's kind of one of my pet peeves when it comes to grammar.

No, as long as the context of the medium supports one or the other I could care less. Meaning is everything, form is aesthetics.
