You're reading Why does the US support the Israeli government, when its military occupies illegally in Palestinian territory and slaughters thousands of innocent women and children?
Comments
I totally agree. It's to the point where if it takes a massive military approach by Israel, to smoke the scumbags, so be it. It may in the long run actually save lives on both sides. At the least it'll end this story that never ends, once and for all.

Israel has the fourth largest military power in the world. Funded by the US. Why don\'t they just slaughter the Palestinians like we did the native Americans?

Sorry to delay ya'lls points, your input is respected and your ratings well earned. The idea of this Q was spawned from viewing the video, "Peace, Propaganda, and the Promised Land" I invite you to view it on google video and update your A's as to what you think of it? It can be found here; http://video.google.com/videosearch

Sunblynd, one of the major claims of this video is that Israel is in violation of UN Resolution 242 in that it continues to occupy Palestinian territory. Does it ever mention the fact that Israeli withdrawal was contingent on the Palestinians accepting Israel's right to exist and that the Palestinians would stop attacking Israel? This is something that they have never been willing to do. All the time that he was talking peace with Israel, Yassir Arafat kept a map on his office wall that showed Palestine as occupying all of the territory that is the nation of Israel.
The video goes on to talk about how the Jews oppress the Palestinians. Were you aware that Israel built a whole bunch of really nice housing outside of one of the Palestinian refugee camp specifically for them? Were you further aware of the fact that the reason those building remain empty to this day is because the Palestinian leadership won't allow their people to move in?

The reason the Palestinian leadership won’t let their people move in is because they want to keep their people oppressed to garner sympathy from the rest of the world for the “plight of the poor oppressed Palestinians.” Yes, they are oppressed, but they are oppressed by their own leaders who blame all of their problems on the fact that Israel exists rather than of the fact that they refuse to live in peace with Israel.

Is that what you got from it? Interesting point of view.
