• Yes, some idiots will go to a fancy, ridiculously priced salon. There is at least one in Iowa (if not more) that charge these amounts. It's obscene, isn't it? For a time, my son's friends were all getting their 'punk' haircuts for $30 each. I then explained to him that it went against 'punk' itself to do such. I explained to him that true punk style is DIY! :)

• I completely agree. People are willing to pay for a haircut like this simply for 'status'. I don't get it, personally, but then, I don't care what people think of me! :)

• When I flew to Vietnam in October 2006, I didn't have time to get my haircut in Southern California, so I got it cut en route, when I had a six hour layover at San Francisco International Airport. I paid $18 for the haircut and $10 for the beard trim. I thought that was high until I saw this. Thanks.
