    I am almost positive that it is a human disease. I checked this on peteducatiom.com and it did not come up. The Epstein barr virus spread by saliva but I do think it is human-to-human and not canine to human. If a dog has bit, you please call your local animal control office so they may obtain the dog past vaccination records, and see you medical doctor, regarding your concerns.
