  • You don't. Ritalin is a mood stabilizer, and, as such, cannot produce a high.
  • If you just randomly feel like getting high on pills you know nothing about just because, maybe you should try an anti depressant. Long term style;)
  • It depends how much you weigh.. I'm 110 pounds and it only takes me 20mg (2 pills in my case) to get pretty hyped up. I'm pretty good at estimating how much you should take if you want to tell me how much you weigh. And are you taking it for studying or partying? cause you can use alot less if you just want to be able to focus. And to Anonymous: Ugh, no.. Methyphendidate (ritalin) is not a mood stabilizer.. its a speed actually and it gets you pretty damn close to being high off cocaine...or any other speed. I'm perscribed it for ADHD so I take it regularly, and if you take enough, it definatly gets you high.. Even the amount I was perscribed got me high when I started taking it.. anndd being a pretty avid drug user, I know when I'm high.
  • It's very difficult to get high off of Ritalin orally. It only inhibits the reuptake of dopamine (and norephinephrine). In other words, Ritalin simply makes your brain utilize its own neurotransmitters more effectively. Snorting Ritalin is essentially the only way to experience euphoria, but doing so is extremely short lived and has quite the come down. If you want to get high off ADD drugs, your best bet is Adderall IR. It is both a reuptake inhibitor (see above) AND an excitatory agonist. In other words, your dopamine reserves are tapped into, and you get a sudden rush into the brain. THIS is how you get high! Because it is ingested, there is less of a comedown. But, because it is amphetamine (a small step down from meth) you need to be careful...
