Can you give us step-by-step instructions on how to pack items you sell on Ebay, from the first step all the way to when you drop it off at the courier pick-up point? Moreover, how much does each packing supply material cost?

    While each item can be different, here is the way I ship most items. Wrap item in a plastic bag and tape closed. This will keep it from getting wet should a carrier drop it in a puddle. I use U.S Postal Service Priority Mail almost exclusively for shipping. Agaian, I deal in mostly small items). Priority Mail boxes are available at the post office or USPS.com at no charge! Choose a size that is large enough to accomodate the item and some packing. I save money here as well by using crumpled newspaper as packing. Use enough to keep item from moving, but don't "overstuff" box til the sides round out. A box that holds it's shape packs better into the mail truck and is less likely to fall off the stack. Choose shipping options and insurance coverage based on the value of item. USPS has 3 box sizes called "1 rate" that can also be very cost effective. You can send anything that will fit into the box, anywhere in the U.S. for $8.00. Hope these tips help you.
