Condos are a builiding complex with different units of property where different people own it all together. A town home is a house with a group of identical others right next to it.

The first answer is correct with this added. A Townhome is a two-level apartment that has been sold individually and does not have a garage, but merely a carport or parking area as in most apartment complexes. A condo can be one or two level and usually has a garage.

A townhouse is a two-story apartment or condo. A condominium is a home you buy but you don't own the land the house is on. Usually condos share walls like apartments, but not always. The land and common areas are owned by everyone who owns a condo in the development.
