Question

Help answer this question below.

I know we need ads to pay for the site, but when I answer a good relationship question ( as best I can ), I really don't want to see, Erin ( 26 from cardiff ), even if she does look cute, are some of the ads just going a bit too far?

    I don't see any ads. I got fed up of them and switched to Firefox and installed AdBlock Plus.

    Have you seen the new ads for dating married women? Now that is going too far.

    I use NoScript. It uses the "whitelist" principle, allowing only scripts you approve. It works with Mozilla browsers, including Firefox and SeaMonkey. I've been using NoScript for about a year now. I see very few ads any more. (None here.)

    When I first visit a new site I right-click and open the NoScript menu, then allow only the script(s) I want. If I'm not sure, I click "Temporarily allow..."
    On this page alone, 7 scripts are all trying to run. I allow only three, answerbag.com and a couple others that don't annoy me.

    For Firefox:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722

    For SeaMonkey:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/addon/722

    And the author's own website:
    http://noscript.net/

    ==========================
    I still use SeaMonkey's built-in cookie manager, image manager, & popup manager, but those options are mostly set-and-forget.

    there's no getting around it gang: nothing in life is free....it's the 'price' we have to pay for getting on here...I agree with worzel, i never even would have thought about it if it wasn't brought up, but I accept that nothing is completely free,so, it's no biggie

    Yarnlady is happy every day

    I wish the ads were more interesting. There is one that shows a nearly naked man that shows up on all the LGBT questions.

    I don't think those ads for abortion clinics should be on this site. That's going just a bit too far.
