    Almost every law on the books is there because someone either didn't like what someone else did (thus the no spitting on the sidewalk laws), or for safety. And, while they may start with only a few laws/rules, as dumb-sh-ts have accidents doing something stupid, it's obvious a law is needed, so the cops can arrest them before they kill someone else or themselves.

    Without traffic laws and regulations, try imagine what the highways and interstate system would look like.

    People driving 100 mph, running into people driving 50 mph and the whole system clogged.

    A person runs a stop sign and hits your vehicle.

    Utter castrophe on the highways.

    We need ever law and regulation currently on the books.
