I am in dire need of a vacation. This will be the first summer that I haven't gone somewhere exciting. Damn money! Why does it always have to cost so much to get the hell of out town. I'm not just talking about camping or spending the weekend somewhere. I'm talking about 6 weeks in Alaska or Canada. Took a 6 week trip last year through Canada doing the Yokun trail...it was absolutely beautiful and fantastic. Camped out the whole way through Canada and up through Alaska....that's exactly what I'm missing right about now. Year before that I took 6 weeks and went along the coast of Washington, into the Olympic rain forrest. Again, simply georgeous. This year my finances have kept me homebound and I'm pissed. Ok, so I have next year to plan for. That'll be my goal this year....get the hell of town next summer.
