Is anyone here taking Wellbutrin and if so, what side effects have you experiences?

    i took welbutrin for about 5 years, between the ages of 6 and 10...it never really did anything according to my parents, i know that i could not take any other medication with it, and after awhile the dosage had to increase, and eventually it made me gain weight, and it actually started to cause me more problems then helping.

    It made me almost have a sizure but everybody body is different. It didnt make me fill that way untill the 3rd day. They had to put me on I.V. and give me xanax to calm my heart rate down. Be careful buddy

    I've been taking it for two weeks, 300mg. It caused me to have a complete mental breakdown which I would describe as the pairing of these side effects: panic attack, increased aggression, increased depression. for the first time I felt like killing myself which has never happened before. It also has been causing me mood swings similar to bipolar disorder ever since I stopped taking it (two days ago). I've taken two other different medications, and this is why I hate doctors and prescription meds. Really to be honest, I don't think we are ever going to find proper medication for people with real mental disorders. The pharmaceutical companies just want us to have hope so that they can get our money.
