  • Its going to be up to the person. In my opinion i like dirt bikes better but then you can ask someone else and they would atvs. It's just up to the person's personal preference.
  • i think that the dirtbike would be better because if you would crash if the bike is on your leg or something like that it will hurt your leg but it won't crush your leg like the ATV because it's not as heavy. the ATV is also more dangerous because if it lands on you it will crush your whole body
  • I think it depends on where you are riding. I love both, but I ride my Outlaw, mostly.
  • I ride them both and they are both great fun, Riding a motorcycle when I was younger and did some racing;) I think riding a bike makes you work on your balancing better than a Atv in the long run makes you and overall better rider for both;)
  • I've been riding dirt bikes all my life, I think they are safer, just because a wipe out could be tragic on an atv. Just my opinion, I've only rode one once.
  • I think you have more opprotunity to wipe out on a dirt bike if you have uneven surfaces or bad balance. If you have good balance and are on surfaces that are smooth then dirt bikes can be alot of fun and fast. but i think ATV's are more versitle because they can be used for hunting or riding or racing, personally i perfer ATV's. ATV's are just as safe as dirt bikes but if your planning on being wild and reckless then yes you will get hurt on either of them. It all depends on what you want to do with them and while on them. Race? Cruise? hunt?
  • I like dirt bikes but my wife likes atvs
  • Dirtbikes. They seem more mobile more agile and of course able to make it in between those trees better. ATVs are just too heavy. I cant imagine even doing a micro wheelie on them. At least not for function. A dirt bike just needs a bit hip and butt action and they respond well. They tilt well too when you need a full stop. ATVs need nerves and muscles of steel.
  • dirt bikes any day of the week
