My 1991 Volvo 940 2.0L gas engine won't start. Good spark, fuel pump, relay, voltage at injectors, fuel supply before fuel rail good, but no fuel getting injected. What's wrong?

    hello i hVE 1991 volvo 940 se. it try ro start butwould not. i check the timing belt alternator belt and ingnition wire but no luck with the fuel relay. do you think its the fuel relay? i cant find it. please help me

    i found the fuel pressure regulator to be faulty tapping it with a hammer allowed the engine to start but it will need to be replaced

    If you are getting voltage at the injectors, I wouldn't suspect the ECU. I would double check the fuel pump pressure. Though it seems to be working, it may not be putting out enough pressure to open the inj. I am not a Volvo expert, but this is my best guess based on a similar problem I had with my 84 Cougar.
