Of course we do, but which would you rather see? 700,000 Iraqis dead now or millions of others dead later? If we don't finish the job we need to do, it'll cost far more later on.

It is highly disturbing to hear about the deaths of so many innocents there that had no part in this and just wanted to have a peaceful life which was indiscriminately ended for no good reason except for petty spite. Dropping a Nuke anywhere in the Near Eastern region is a recipe for a major conflict that would draw every nation into it in the entire region. Lots of people care about the tragedy that has befallen so many people in so prolonged a period of time.

It is a good thing, you are hear to ask, this question. It deeply saddens me. I dont know why you insinuate, that no one cares, that is just silly.

It is not our fault if that comes to pass. This is not a war based on Blood money for oil, this is an issue of home land security. That means your home and your land. If you have children, then you do what you must to make them safe. That includes sending our boys and girls to erradicate the threat so that they dont escape to other countrys and infect there way of thinking there by regrowing a new threat from a new location. We did not attack them, they attact us!

I'd definitely have to verify the info first but I'd be more than pleased to comment. While it's true that innocent's have died both by accident and purposely due to us military personnel, countless have died due to infighting (sunni vs. shiite, death squads, suicide bombings). We're far from perfect but we also aren't driving car bombs into crowded markets. We need to accept responsibility for our actions but at the same time we don't support death squads or suicide bombers. Those figures probably include deaths that are indirectly attributed to our presence. I for one think it's rediculous to consider "nuking" Iraq. Only an idiot would be serious about supporting such a move. The problem we face now is that if we simply pull out overnight there could be a genocide that overflows the boundaries of Iraq. The fact of the matter is that all we are doing there now is keeping the peace and the cost of doing so isn't just measured in dollars but in the lives of good Americans who chose to serve us and not themselves. If we simply didn't care we'd leave tomorrow. Everyday I think not only of our men and women but of the suffering the Iraqis are enduring.
