Don't you think that Aquaman is overdue for his own movie? Would you watch it?

There are a lot of various super heros that could all have a movie. Aquaman was never very popular, or at least not as popular as Superman, Batman, or Spiderman ... but, YES, I would like to see a "well made" movie with the story of how Aquaman came to be.

It's true- Aquaman could make an awesome movie. The problems, though, I think make it nearly impossible to sell: Public image. Aquaman, if anyone is aware of him, is seen to be some guy whose power is to talk to fish. Anyone who's read the comic obviously knows more, but public perception is important for a movie to succeed. And that public image leads to what movie execs think is worth producing. The studios are only after money, and if they don't think it will make money, they won't bother making it. All that said, if one was actually made, it would all depend, for me, and what the director thought of the source material. I've found that directors that appreciate and try to use source material in any movie based on a sotry originally told outside of movies, I enjoy it more.

Marvel is making a Submariner movie. He's better than Aquaman.
