I couldn't find anything for ICS205/ICS282, I think you might have meant ICX205/ICX282.

The Sony ICX205 is a 1.5 megapixel 1/2" CCD imaging device with 1360x1024 pixels.

    The ICX282 is a newer 5.07 megapixel 2/3" CCD with 2588x1960 pixels

The main difference between the two is the ICX282 is a larger chip, with more pixels which will translate into a higher resolution camera.

You can print much larger pictures with a 5.07 megapixel camera than you can with a 1.5 megapixel one, with all else being equal. The smaller chip will produce fuzzier pictures.
