You can't compare a football player to a basketball player. The first time a basketball got hit he would cry like a little bitch.
-
he has the athletic talent to do whatever he really wanted but the nfl would pose a huge problem to him. yes he is big and physical but he is not football physical. the nfl is a different level from the nba in the physicality level, actually they are worlds apart and i dont think he would set any records for this reason.
-
No he probably would need a few years of getting used to being pounded by 300 pound lineman and still hold onto the ball.

Hmm-mmm.... I recalled correctly that LeBron James used to play as WR or TE and he broked his school record. He played one year and his stats ? 1,000 yards + and between 8 to 10 tds during his freshman year. He later turned to basketball. The rest is history. Think about it... he is NOW 6'8" 245 lbs. Come on ! Can you think of ANY cornerbackers or defenders that can physically or match his speed. Not to forget his leaping abilities. He sure make the rest of defenders look so drawfed. Sorry, I disagreed with yall two pennies. Hopefully i will be able to see others' two dollars, not pennies posted here soon. I truly believe that he can make Randy Moss, Jerry Rice and Chad Johnson bunch of has-beens if he play in NFL. That is my opinion.

NEVER EVER ask a question like that. But to answer the question......NOOOOOOOO!That beacuse he's only good without the pads. If he had the pads he would be slow. Greenbean

Yes Probably.

Hahaha- the dude who said that LJ would make Jerry Rice look like a has been is obviously on some serious prescription drugs! First off I doubt Lebron would ever seriously suit up in an NFL uniform for any team. I think He is too busy making money doing what He does now. I dont thin He is going to go from the Vitamin Water commercials, Glamour Magazine Cover and, everything else to pursue a Football career! The second thing is that You are comparing apples to oranges here. The NBA and NFL are two totally different animals man. The stress and strain put on an NFL star athlete versus that of an NBA star athlete can not even be compared. An NFL player has His body put through it week in and week out. The physical demands of the NBA do not even come close to the pain of the NFL period. LJ is too busy getting speeding tickets and, wearing Yankees fitteds to Jacobs Field to think about Football man!

No because even though I am not a Cowboys fan ,I am a tremendous Terrell Owens fan and I know Romo is going to get better and be more experienced next year. Owens might break some records.
-
I don't think he'd break records. He's a good athlete, no question. He has great hands and is quick as hell, but can he go over the middle and take a hit like Rice? Can he run a pattern with a DB hanging on him? Probably not. He was a stand out WR in high school because he was such a good athlete. That kind of success is not going to bleed over to pro football.

We don't know how tough he is. Could his body handle the vigors of a full season? Don't know. His basketball IQ is off the charts, but what are his football instincts? I don't know. He's got the physical tools, but there is probably a reason that we haven't seen a 6'8" star receiver since Harold Carmichael. Pimpin' aint easy!
