    That would be very useful when I go to the Red Light District in Amsterdam. I can have a much better time that way then.

    Most definitely! I find the language very interesting to the ear. It seems to roll. Plus it would come in useful when traveling to Netherlands, and parts of Belgium, Curacao, and Aruba.

    I speak a little bit of Dutch. I used to understand a lot more of it, but I haven't been to a Dutch speaking country for many years. I used to have a very good friend in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium and I used it when visiting her, actually that's how I learned what I do know.

    No, there is no point in learning. My dad is Dutch and I have a Dutch passport, but it would be a waste of time to learn.
