There's an movie called "Zardoz," in which Sean Connery stars, and he has never been as hot as he is in that movie. The movie itself is idiotic - a future world in which the ruling class keeps itself young forever. (If a member of the society errs, he or she is punished by being "aged.") The underclass members are savages who bring offerings to a stone god whom they fear. The ruling class lives comfortably on these offerings. Our man Sean is bold enough to blaze on into the ruling-class society, with - well - interesting results. The movie score, unlike the screenplay, is gorgeous. One essential theme is the slow movement (the most famous and most easily recognized movement) of Beethoven's Seventh Symphony. Nuttsky says check it out.
