Gold dress, How should I do my makeup and hair for prom????? I have a sparkly gold spagetti strap prom dress. it's very simple but elegant. I'm asian, I have black hair and really dark brown eyes with olive skin. How should I do my hair and makeup?? thank

Really impossible to say, at least without an idea of your build, height and so on. A picture would help. Otherwise, accentuate your eyes but don't overdo it with the makeup - keep it light.

I agree. I think the gold dress will highlight you enough. Keep the make up simple. Try a light yellowish eyeshadow with dark brown to black eyeliner and finish it off with a light red lipstick. And for the hair....I can see it up together in a style with part of your fringe down to the side. Sweet as. :)

if i were you i'd keep my make up natural, but wear a strong deep red lippy? You'll be making enough of a statement with your dress!

Keep it simple and classic. Wearing your hair up will show off the top of your dress as well as your beautiful neck and back. If you do wear it up - keep the style simple and uncomplicated. No flashy hair peices, bows or really big hair. Makeup should be left natural - nothing too shiny or over done. When you wear a strong color like gold you have to be careful that you let the dress be the sparkly part of the production. If you have too much going on you end up looking like you are trying way too hard or even worse like Peg Bundy from Married with CHildren.
