I really love the girl and we have been dating for two years and are now engaged. We have no way to see each other. Should I break up or move on?

How long before you turn 18? If she really cares about you, she'll wait until you're of legal age to go further with this relationship. In the meantime, obey the mother to gain some of her respect back. Once you both hit the legal age, you two can do as you please.

First, you're an idiot for writing sexual notes. Anything in writing can be used against you. Say it if you must, but don't write it. Second, if you love the girl and you want to marry her, stick it out. It's not easy to find someone you really want to be with - don't throw it away the moment it gets hard. My parents weren't exactly cooperative in terms of me getting married (they didn't even come) but I'm not only glad my husband didn't walk when the going with my parents got tough, we've done a GREAT job of showing up my parents by having a good, happy, stable marriage after their dire predictions of us being divorced within a year and so on. Don't walk... it's worth working on if it's worth having. It'll only make the resulting relationship stronger and happier.

Stick it out! If you love this girl just hang in there! I am the mother of eight and I find this to be a little extreme on the mothers part. I have to say it was not the brightest idea to write what you felt,as this has given the mother ammo against you. The mother may be overprotective but she is also potentially inviting resentment on the part of her daughter.Like I said, stick it out and show the mother that you are a better person than she thinks!

Her mom is just jealous that she doesn't get any sexy love notes anymore.
