  • Well, i am also wearing contact lens and during hot weather, i still do the same thing like i store them in a lens case with saline solution in it and put that case in a cabinet or drawer. i live in a tropical country so most of the time, the weather is hot. i think it doesn't have anything to do with the weather, if i am not mistaken. they say that if one doesn't have enough sleep, their eyes will sting if they wear contacts, which is quite true.
  • Weather shouldn't be a factor in storing your contacts. The commercially available storage and wetting solutions are superior to saline. The main objective for the use of these solutions is to prevent bacterial growth in the container. If you are going to store the contacts for an extended period of time, let them dry out. They will shrivel up and wrikle. Store them dry. When you are ready to wear them again, place some solution in the case and rehydrate them. It will take a couple of hours to rehydrate. Bacteria will not grow without water.
