  • I believe it should include all stationary vehicles. My brother-in-law, Mike Cunningham, was a tow truck driver here in Indiana. In June 6th, 2008 he had just finished loading a vehicle and was walking to the cab of his flatbed wrecker, when a coal truck never moved over nor did he slow down and struck Mike and killing him. Also, the driver was under the influence of cocaine. In Indiana, the Move Over law also includes Towing & Recovery Vehicles. Now after all these rediculous pretrials, the driver, Randall McSwain of Henderson, KY finally pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence resulting in death, disobeying the Move over law and a log book not current!! Justice will be done for Mike. I don't care if you're under the influence of alcohol/drugs or not, YOU STILL NEED TO MOVE OVER OR SLOW DOWN 20 mph below the posted speed limit!
