    I tried the lemon juice thing for my freckles, because they became extremly dark from the tanning bed... I've been applying it twice a day for three days now and there almost gone.. At night I leave the lemon juice on my face and wash it off in the morning,, My face is silky smooth .. so no worry on drying it out.... It also is helping clear away the black heads that were on my nose and shrinking my pores on my face.. I tried using facial fade creams to get rid of my freckles before, all they really did was make me look ghost white.. with the lemon juice its just clearing the freckles , but leaving the tan on my face.. I love it ! I didn't think it would actually work, but it has. I have been using lemon juice from a bottle called REAL LEMON.. I haven't tried actually lemon slices, but I think I'll give them a try.. Good luck to anyone who tries the lemon juice, because I've had great success with it so far and I hope so does everyone else.. I hate my freckles and I'm tired of trying to cover them up and I know other people feel the same way. GOOD LUCK!

    I just wanted to let people know that I have tried the laser surgery to get rid of freckles and it did not work it lightned them but as soon as the sun hit they would come right back out. I spent 500 hundred dollars on the surgery. I even used sunscreen on my face after the surgery and it still did not work. Don't waste your money. Lemon juice is the key to removing freckles. I have been using it four a few weeks now and have had good sucess with it. I have had freckles every since I was 10 years old I am now 26 people say they are cute I don't want to be cute anymore. Try the lemon juice you won't be dissapointed.

    I love freckles. Don't take drugs for them. What damage / side effects does that cause? They are so pretty. Love who you are.

    you guys are all crazy. i've had freckles my whole life and i love them. && their everywhere. i wouldn't be me with out them. i still get tan. i still look the same as everyone else..but with freckles... BE your self... i feel beautiful.. GOD gave us freckles for a reson. we're unique.. don't question it. just be happy and flaunt them.... id

    Forget people telling you to live with your freckles. I've been in the same boat as you and, though they've faded over the years, I have too many, they are too big and I just want to get rid of most of them. So, I've been using Retin-A for a week and it's already starting to even my complexion.
    Home remedies don't work. I've tried everything. Get a prescription for Renova or Retin-A. Your insurance should cover it since freckles are technically sun damage. But remember, you have to keep using these products or skin lighteners because the freckles will return when you go in the sun.

    I know that everybody says freckles are cute. And then people that actually have to live with them say they aren't. But I have had freckles ever since I can remember, and I think that they're cute. But not when you have too many. And I don't think freckles are cute when they get all blobbed together. So I think I'm gonna try and fade them a little. I heard that rubbing on lemon juice will fade the freckles effectively and quickly. Also if you increase your intake of Vitamin C will help. You can get more Vitamin C by eating lots of citrus fruits [oranges, grape fruits, lemons, and limes]. Also if you soak a towel in tea [real tea, not organic] and then letting it sit on you for about 15 minutes may work. Also, It may sound kind of gross, but if you put sour cream on the freckled area then let it it for a while. After it has sat, take it off and moisterize the skin so it does't dry out. I haven't actually tried any of this but from all the stuff I've read these are the things that actually work. I will try them and hopefully can comment back and tell everyone if they have worked for me.

    I heard that cucumbers work well, but I didn't try it actually. I guess, that some people think freckles are cool, but if you have to live with them all the time, you start thinking - it's better to have clear face. And we just have to try and then decide.

    ugh i know how you feel! i have had freckles forever and i hate them! i have asked the same question as you before and everyone just said to love the way i look and that freckles r cute. well i dont think so. i hate my freckles! i would rather have really bad acne than freckles. everybody at school used to make fun of them and i hated it! i heard lemon juice helped and i tryed it. well, it didnt work. i dont want to pay a lot of money for surgery when many people say it didnt work. i have also tried many, many, many types of cream and they havent worked either. the only thing that makes them look faded is make up. i use foundation and blush and they make my freckles lighter. thats the only thing i have done that actually even made my freckles lighten and fade at all. well good luck in trying to fade and get rid of your freckles.

    Apparently lemon juice works and putting cucumber and leaving it there over night i havent tryed these yet but i will try them shortly and tell you :) if they do actually work. I hate my freckles but some boys think there attractive (Im a girl by the way..) My brother used to call me for them but now he never does he also goes out with a girl with frecles and ive heard him telling his mates about her he absoloutly loves his girl friend so if girls are thinking that boys hate them most of them dont most find there cute :)

    I have tried to get rid of my freckles forever and this works better than anything i have tried!!!!!!!! This is even more gross than the sour cream (sadly :( ) but it works really well. Put six tablespoons of horseradish and six tablespoons of lemon juice and let it sit for a week outside.Put it through a coffee filter and what is in the coffee filter put on your face. Put it in a bowl and use it 3 times a day. I tried this and the first 2 days I used this it worked they were barely notaceable!

    Lemon juice is the only thing I'm aware of that lightens them.
    However, freckles are great! I have them (though am not covered) and I think they add character.

    some people on her are saying that we should love ourselves for who we are and i say get over yourself. There isn't anyone in the world who hasn't said at some point "i wish i had...." whether you have straight hair and want curly or you are slightly overweight and you want to be skinny. Truth is we are going to feel the way we feel until we change it. i have lived with freckles my whole life only because i didn't know it was possible to get rid of them. i will try some of these remedies though.

    well i have plenty of freckels and i really havent thought about them but the past few mounths I ve paid more atenion to them and my parents both are dark complected so i was like ok maybe i need to do something about this you know and so i read about the lemon juice and i aply it on my face twice every day! i love it ! i ve noticed it fades the freckels and i bought this thing from clairs called "Perfect Reflection" i put on my face if iam going ing public and it worx very good !never blech your self like my cousin:( hospital:( anyway i personally dont mind freckels on the shoulder!:)

    OMG I HATE freckles! You people that say they're great.... they're not! I have always had a big dark one right in the middle of my forehead, and i used to get teased ALL the time in school.... they used to call me the "indian girl". (not being racist) I will try the lemon juice and see how it goes!!

    well iwant to try the lemon juice casue all my life i have been ashamed of them. ihave them all over my legs and back and arms sholders face lips and in the 9th grade i made the vollyball team but i didnt play casue i didnt want anyone to see my freckes at school im so ashamed and self coushiou of them...ihope this works

    you know i have some freckles and i agree they are cute, but once you have too many, it doesnt get soo cute anymore. there sooo annoying! like everyone elses comments said lemon juice and apparently sour cream and cucumbers worked. im trying to put benozyal perioxide on it to dry it out and then moustrize it, idk if its working, so im gunna try lemon juice and see how it works.
    gl w/ all people who are having troubled time w/ freckles!

    Stay out of the sun whenever possible and wear sunscreen when you do go outside. Your freckles will tan just like the rest of you, causing them to become more obvious.
    Apply lemon juice directly to your face twice a day and let it sit for at least 15 minutes. You can also apply it at night before retiring and wash it off in the morning after rising. This will also increase your sensitivity to sunlight so wear sunscreen when you go out.
    Rinse your face with sour milk.
    Apply sour cream over your entire face, let it sit for 15 minutes and then wipe it off with a towel or tissue, but don’t rinse.
    Use a cosmetic cover-up.
    Freckle Removal Cream Recipes:

    Use the following home remedies by mixing them with yogurt, your favorite cream, or by applying directly to the skin. Most of these concoctions will make you more sensitive to sunlight, so be sure and use sunscreen when you go outside.

    Lemon juice
    Parsley juice
    Onion juice (Or crushed onions) - not a very pleasant solution…
    Cucumber juice (you can also crush a cucumber into paste and use the resulting material)
    Fenugreek oil (Dilute in cream or yogurt)
    A mixture of 2 oz. Lemon juice, 2 oz. rum, 1 tsp. glycerin, and 4 tbsp. buttermilk - let the mixture set on your face for 30 minutes and wash, no more than twice a day.
    A mixture of 1 tbsp. yogurt and a dribble of honey. Apply this directly to your freckles and it let set for 30 minutes before washing.

    If you use the lemon juice, will it fade your tan? Every time i go tanning or lay out, I get tons of freckles that darken on my face, and i look hideous. It's even worse once my tan starts to fade, and the freckles haven't faded yet!!
    I really want to find a way to keep my tan and not the freckles!

    omg i have so many freckles and i do hate em!! i cant understand when ppl say that they think freckles are cute! they're the ugliest things ever.. they make me feel so uncomfortable and non self-confident :(
    ive tried freckle-remove creams and they did work but when i stopped using freckles went back again :(
    ive tried lemon-juice but it didnt work for me. but i will try again. hope it works.
