After cleansing the area GENTLY, apply a dab of toothpaste....not gel, but paste...it will usually dry up the pimple.

Sounds silly- but if its just the one- a dab of hemmorhoid cream will do it (I picked that up from a documentary about the Miss World contest!)

You can use visine. It will take the red colour out of the pimple so that it doesn't show up as much.

I've used two different methods. One is to put ice on it, followed by a hot cloth. The other is to dot some rubbing alcohol on it.

Aspirin is the accepted standby. Aspirin contain salycylic acid, the main anti-bacterial ingredient in most acne remedies. Grind one aspirin up and make a paste with water. Apply to your zit and retire to bed (it's not a glamorous look). That sucker should be on the run by morning.
