Not sure what you mean by rewind. Can you back up and listen to soemthing over? No. If a loop of tape is hanging out and you need to get it back in, try this, hold the cartridge with the label facing towards you and the loop hanging down. Pull down on the right hand side of the loop quickly with a pull of about 4-5 inches. This will generally spin the wheel inside fast enough to take up the slack. If tape is completely out of cartridge and needs to be rewound, it can be done but is unlikely to be successful.
