They're ALL OVER Myspace.
I particularly hate the ones that hijack your speakers:
"Congratulations: you've been selected to receive a FREE iPod Nano!!"
Grr.
I don't even bother.
It kind of works. You have to actually participate in a number of programs that cost you money before you get whatever free item you're after. In the end, you're probably not going to make any money unless you're very, very savvy. Remember that the free products are paid for by the advertisers' dollars. The advertisers have to be making enough from you to be worth paying the freebie website. The economics of the system dictate that a lot of people are going to be paying a lot into the various advertised services before even one product is paid for and awarded.
Do you think "AnswerScrotum" would be a good name for an Answerbag competitor?

You're reading Have you ever tried the marketing system, Incentivized Freebie Websites (IFW) and does it work? Do you know any or many websites making offers where you have to complete a certain number of steps in order to get the product?

Hear, hear! That's why I always turn my speakers off when I'm surfing the web.
