  • There are alot of answers to that one. The terrorists believe that the more they take with them the more they will be rewarded. But I am a Baptist and I believe that commiting suicide or murder will result in their soul going to H***. The Bible says an eye for an eye & a tooth for a tooth.
  • They get stuck between plains of this world and the next, forced to wonder about aimlessly amoungest other suicidles regreting what they did for eternity.
  • The same thing that happens to anyone who dies any other way. the only punishment you get from killing yourself is you don't get to be alive anymore, which is pretty dumb.
  • They go to heaven like my brother did
  • it goes where everyone elses soles go. Six feet under or in a vase sitting above a mantel
  • I think God knows our heart and will judge us on that.
  • It depends: why did they commit suicide? Were they mentally disturbed and not in control of their actions? Then I leave it in God's hands- he is the judge, not me. God has said that those who die without hope, though, those who do not know Jesus and forgiveness through him, run to hell rather than accept the gift of heaven. If suicide is the ultimate embrace of hopelessness, then I do not know if that person could have the hope of forgiveness.
  • I don't think anything different happens to someone committing suicide than what does to someone who dies naturally. I think it's a foolish thing to do but I don't think that after you die you are penalized for it. I think the penalty is the actual act of killing yourself when, instead, you could have changed your life for the better.
  • Well, I hope they get to keep it. It seems only fair.
  • People tell me that I'm going to hell, but how the hell do they know. The thing is, what if they are right? At this time I'm not willing to gamble on that.
  • every one goes to the same waiting room in heaven. you know if there is a heaven it has to be organized because people are dieing every minute. there has to be staff to handle everyone. we all die. whether we do our selves in or we just die or someone causes us to die...its all the same. all over the earth people are dieing. and animals are dieing too. they probably go to the same waiting room. are we any different from animals...well we arent road kill...yet.
  • I think they come right back to earth to redo all the lessons they didn't finish.
  • What are in general the effects of suicide on the state of the spirit by whom it has been committed? "The consequences of suicide vary in different cases, because the penalties it entails are always proportioned to the circumstances which, in each case, have led to its commission. The one punishment which none can escape who have committed suicide is disappointment; the rest of their punishment depends on circumstances. Some of those who have killed themselves expiate their fault at once; others do so in a new earthly life harder to bear than the one whose course they have interrupted." Observation has confirmed the statement that the consequences of suicide are not the same in all cases; but it has also shown us that some of those consequences, resulting from the sudden interruption of life, are the same in all cases of violent death. Foremost among these is the greater tenacity and consequent persistence of the link that unites the spirit and the body, which link. In nearly all such cases, is in its full strength at the moment when it is broken; whereas, when death is the result of natural causes, that link has been gradually weakened, and is often severed before life is completely extinct. The consequences of violent death are, first, the prolongation of the mental confusion which usually follows death, and, next, the illusion which causes a spirit, during a longer or shorter period, to believe himself to be still living in the earthly life. (155, 165.) The affinity which continues to exist between the spirit and the body produces, in the case of some of those who have committed suicide, a sort of repercussion of the state of the body in the consciousness of the spirit, who is thus compelled to perceive the effects of its decomposition, and experiences therefrom a sensation of intense anguish and horror; a state which may continue as long as the life which he has interrupted ought to have lasted. This state is not a necessary result of suicide; but he who has voluntarily shortened his life can never escape the consequences of his want of courageous endurance; sooner or later, and in some way or other, he is made to expiate his fault. Thus, many spirits who had been very unhappy upon the earth have stated that they had committed suicide in their preceding existence, and that they had voluntarily submitted to new trials in order to try to bear them with more resignation. In some cases the result of suicide is a sort of connection with terrestrial matter, from which they vainly endeavor to free themselves, that they may rise to happier worlds, access to which is denied to them; in other cases it is regret for having done something useless, and from which they have reaped only disappointment. Religion, morality, all systems of philosophy, condemn suicide as being contrary to the law of nature; all lay it down as a principle that we have no right to voluntarily shorten our life; but why have we not that right? Why are we not at liberty to put an end to our sufferings? It was reserved for Spiritism to show, by the example of those who have succumbed to that temptation, that suicide is not only a fault, as being an infraction of a moral law (a consideration of little weight with some persons), but is also a piece of stupidity, since no benefit is to be gained by it, but quite the contrary. The teachings of Spiritism in regard to this subject are not merely theoretical; for it places the facts of the case before our eyes. The Spirit´s book
  • God always blesses. I think they are going to have to come back here and continue where they were before they left. I believe in reincarnation. I do not think people who commit suicide are punished with any kind of nonsense like eternal damnation. If it's not their fault because they were depressed or ill, then they are without fault period. If they made a boo-boo, they are going to have to work through it. We all have lessons to learn to grow.
  • Well, here it is. No, I do not believe that a person't soul goes to heaven if they commit suicide. Here's why. "You shall not murder." -Exodus 20:13 Murder is a sin. God gave a person the right to live so only He has the say of when to take it away. Him, only, because He is the creator. So, murder, in general is a sin, no matter who it is. Another...God promises us that no matter what, He will never leave us. He says to come all who are weary. He promises to never put us through any temptation that we cannot handle...be it suicide or anything else. "No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it. " -1 Corinthians 10:13 When a person commits suicide, they are not trusting God. They may be going through hard times but God says to trust in Him. He will never forsake us. We need to acknowledge that we are incapable of doing anything oursleves. We need to cast our worries on Him and TRUST Him. So, should a soul be allowed in the dwelling place of God when they don't even trust Him???
  • There's probably a very short period before you die when you realize that you really screwed up then absolute nothingness, no more awareness just nothing.
  • It comes back as a razor or a bottle o' pills? Dig the symmetry? ;-)
  • "all souls go back to whom they belong"...its God's call only....no one can or has the authority to say.....its totally between God and the guy /girl//we have no way of knowing what went on between these 2...:)thatsJustme
