at least he was better than donald
-
I'd rather see Colin Powell as President.
-
They're both too old.
-
Unlikely. Logically, there's room for just one military candidate on the ballot.
-
I like Colin Powell from 2002, but he might be past his prime. Plus, McCain needs a friendly face on the ticket. Too many soldiers make the right look too hawkish.
-
Nothing like a 70 year old VP to backup a 71 year old president. Not to mention that they have some different beliefs, at least outwardly. Maybe the both believe the same things secretly, who knows. But apart from that, I think Powell would be an interesting running mate.
-
Im not voting for McCain ... Id rather see Colin Powell as President!
-
I think making Colin Powell McCain's running mate would be a winning ticket in November.
-
I'd think "Canada looks better every day..."
-
I wouldn't vote for McCain no matter what so I dont like the idea.
-
After the way the Republicans used and abused him as the puppet poster boy for fake WMDs in front of the UN, then threw him under the bus, backed over him, kicked his proverbial puppy, and then tacked a sign on his back saying kick me. I'm not suprised he resigned. And I would not be suprised if he voted for a democrat this time around.
-
Very good choice
-
I would like it more if McCain was Powell's running mate
-
I like that thought. Colin Powell understands diplomacy, he understands war and he understands peace and what it takes to achieve it. The only question I would have is how much knowledge does he have in economic recovery? I'd like to see him run with John, has his name been thrown in the pot?

I'm sure McCain would love it, but Powell's endorsement will be for a Democrat: http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/661952
