Even though I'm only a third generation American ('cept for the small native part), I just don't have time to get offended about something like that. I mean, I know they aren't talking about me.

I get really fed up with the "we are a nation of immigrants" crap. It's so trite and PC, besides the fact that it's not true. If we were all, or even the majority of us, were first or second or even third generation Americans, than we would be a nation of immigrants. But most of us have ancestors that were here hundreds of years ago. We are certainly not immigrants. But the PC crowd can feel free to call themselves that if they like.
