Why do girls call some guys cute and also call some dogs or animals cute?

oh no my young friend do not try to figure women out your really wasting your time. just nod when they speak apologize no matter what. when they ask a question best to keep your mouth shut and just hold them. this is the only way to calm them down where they wont bite you.

I was just thinking about this today. Why do I say [or think] a guy is "cute" when I really mean he's attractive to me. I don't know, I think it may be that is how I used to word it in school and it stuck..
