  • Honey is all natural so I say it is the best.
  • splenda
  • I used to make iced tea like Kool-Aid - Two cups of sugar per gallon, so I like it sweet. My Dad suggested this years ago and it works for me. For a Mega Mug (Wal-Mart) of coffee, or a bottle (V8 Splash bottle), I use 4 blue (Equal or equivelent) and 2 pink (Sweet & Low or equivelent) and a level spoon of tea (weak, I know, but...) I don't seem to get any aftertaste, which I would by using one or the other. So ... Equal and Sweet-and-Low together, I think! ;-)
  • sweet n low or splenda.. aspartame is in equal and its just plain scary - not that I believe everything I read, but I had equal when I first switched to sweetener over sugar and i had some really bad reactions to the aspartame.
  • HONEY!!! dont have aspartame.. its a very bad chemical and it is extremly bad for you and causes alsimerzers
  • Stevia, all natural, sweeter than sugar, won't give you Alzheimer's...
  • uh... chocolate sugar?
  • Honey. The rest are lethal.
  • I've tried a few replacers, but they all seem to end up being bad for you in some way. I've decided that I'll stick with raw sugar or honey. The key (like anything) is moderation.
  • None of them are good for you, but I suppose I like Splenda the best.
  • none of the above...use sugar, at least its (more or less) natural. no idea who came up with the idea that a chemical compound would be better than something natural.
  • definetly splenda, it doesn't have the weird after taste
  • Splenda! "it's made from sugar, so it tastes like sugar." i'll vouch for it.
  • i dont have any of them i dont like artificial sweetners they properly do more damage then real suger.and they have Loads of E numbers in them so it is best to stick with Suger, Suger is not all bad, it made my plant by photosynthesis so it is the most natural sweetner there is. you body can burn suger really quick so for every spoon of suger do a 1 minute workout.
  • Don't use artificial sweeteners ever. Try stevia it's fabulous, if you don't want sugar, or the calories, or if you are diabetic. It's fabulous and comes in so many flavors too:-)
  • If I have to, I'll take Sweet & Low.
  • None of these! They all make me sick, literally. The minimun I get tis a headache from these. How about honey or beet sugar as a substitute?
  • Splenda. :)
  • sweet n low
  • I use unrefined brown sugar or demerara sugar, nutrients are still intact unlike highly refined white sugar.
  • it would have to be splenda.
  • I was associated with the pop industry for many years. Not one of the QC people in the lab would touch anything made with artificial sweeteners. They are all deadly. In fact they don't drink much pop either. I'd say honey is best.
  • Nothing is a good sugar substitute.
  • Stevia Extract is without a doubt the best sugar substitute. Stevia is pretty pricey but does last for a very, very, very long time and you don't use much. Stevia is about 800 times stronger than sugar. If you wanted (for example) to sweeten your tea, you would pt two drops of stevia. With sugar or the other unhealthy stuff, it takes around 2 teaspoons or more. (depending on how you like it) Anyways, stay away from splenda and the others. Did you know splenda can give you cancer? You see, my dad is a health nut so I hear this all the time from him and I did a report on it before a long, long time ago. Splenda contains three unhealthy ingredients such as... 1. dextrose 2. maltodextrin 3. sucralose Through out your splenda and other sweetners and get stevia extract. Here's a short tip, do NOT eat it plain, it is extremely bitter. Hope that helped! Sorry it's so long! Spread the word about stevia, it is the best sugar substitute...
