  • You can't stop something by trying to stop it. You have to replace your thought patterns with positive ones. Instead of thinking of your weight, think about life and what you want to do, and just chase that, and with all of that running, the weight will come off!
  • Have you looked into professional help as to your proportions, avtivity level, support group? Obsessing will make it worse, as you well know, since most people choose to comfort themselves with food. And then obsess some more, only to eat again. Acycle is set. Find a support group that is avtive. Get busy! :):):) (I did...)
  • Just make sure you please yourself, dont go out to impress others, once you are happy and love yourself, loving others will come easy and your confidence will build up.1st step is to find the things you love about yourself, then use them.By the way your proportions sound just great.
  • In your therapy, did you dicuss "Dismorphic Body Disorder"? The general idea is "what you see, ain't what you got" The person in the reflection isn't really you...Its who you see yourself as being It really sounds like, as a residual of E.D.'s, your mind of thought hasn't caught up with your mind of reality. You didn't mention your age, gender, any other self harming behaviors... Are you still in therapy? My e-mail is { jrock5150@infowest.com } if you'd like to carry on a more indepth conversation. I don't think everything belongs an AB, but its a great way to communicate with others in your own level of comfort. How long has it been since you practiced your diease? I've been doing better for a whilr. It can only get better!!! Best of luck to you. Hope to talk to you soon!!:) Janett :)
