Simply tell them. If they get mad thats their problem, they're not much of friends now are they? There are such things in this world as friends of convienance. They're your friend so long as it is convient for them, or if they need somthing from you. Obviously they think your pretty naive, or gullible and put you on a guilt trip to help them out when they need it. If someone is trying to make you feel guilty, simply ask them why are they trying to make you feel guilty about their situation? "Excuse me...are you trying to make me feel guilty?" Ask them if they feel any guilt about using you, while they are oblivious and blinded of the fact that you have problems of your own. Tell them that its time to grow up and handle their own problems and quit putting them all on you. Even if they leave and never talk to you again, you will be much better off and free to do the things you want to do. Good luck

I think certainly, you do have to tell them. Perhaps in a joky kind of way so as not to offend them. I also think you should ask yourself some questions.. 'why is it they always ask you?' Do you set yourself up to be 'put on?' Are you trying too hard to maintain your friends and win some kind of favour?
