Yes, although there is a lot of food there. I would throw out the bag right away, or vacuum up some poison.
If it's alive, it probably can. Was it a "Daddy long legs? If so, it won't hurt you.
I have no problems with small spiders on webs. It\'s the brown ones that scuttle around the basement floor that really get me.

What I do is sprinkle spider poison on the rug, and then vacuum it.
