  • Sometimes a question is badly phrased and could fit into the alloted space if reworded. Other times, though, the questioner really needs to expand on the situation so that he or she receives accurate advice or answers. I think this is completely acceptable. Just indicate such in your question and people will know there are more details.
  • course you can! go for it, i certainly wouldn't be offended. in fact i think its better to do that sometimes so that people really understand what your trying to say
  • Sure, it happens so many times. In the question give a brief description and then ask to look at your answer. :)
  • Happens all the time. Summarize the subject and ask a question in the question, and elaborate in the first answer. I'd suggest that you write the whole thing out in Notepad or Word (or the like) first, then fill in and submit the question. As soon as it's through, immediately cut-and-paste the elaboration in the first answer. (Some people are so quick on the home page, they answer by asking where the rest of the info is!)
  • I do it from time to time, I do wish there was a little more room for questions.
  • Answer your question with the rest of the question and tell the AB members that you've done that.
