It has a thermal fault, possibly in one of the power supplies inside the television. At three years of age it is most certainly worth getting repaired. You will, however, need to get the television properly diagnosed at an authorized repair centre.

You're reading My 3 year old RCA goes to black and white after a few hours of use. If used further, the image continues to degrade. Is it worth fixing?
