If you can afford ultra expensive hotels you must be an American Express "Black Card" holder. Utilize the "Concierge" service from American Express. Hey wait a minute, you are Answers 101. Knock it off. This forum is for real people with real questions. Get a life. When you have a legitmate question about a real life situation, I am sure we would all like to help. I loved the Hotel J in Stockholm. The Klaus K or the Hotel Kamp looked great in Oslo, but I couldn't get in there. I stayed at the Grande Bretagne in Athens, but I don't think I would stay there again. You might want to check www.tripadvisor.com. Their info is good.

The cities of Zurich, Geneva,Lucern,Basle(Switzerland), Munich(Germany), Vienna, Salzburg(Austria),Stockholm(Sweden),Oslo(Norway)traditionally belong to the most expensive cities in the world (along with Tokyo),especially since the currency of all those countries is Euro which is getting stronger against US $,except Switzerland, it is getting more expensive for Americans or Canadians to travel to these countries. By the way, Swiss Frank(Swiss currency)also appreciates against US$.So the ultra expensive hotels are in the aforementioned cities(from Zurich to Oslo). I would recommend going to travel agent in your country and booking the hotels there to get a better deal. Bon voyage.Viaje divertido.Gute Reise.

Europe is already a costly place to stay compared to others. But if you're up to an expensive accommodation, you can consider the Hôtel Fouquet's Barrière in Paris. Costs $5389.00 for one person. You can also consult luxurylink.com for other luxury accommodations. My boss frequents this site.
