  • Not necessarily. If you worked in the same location, then yes. However, if your job took you to different cities, then no. Example: You work for a band. The band is based out of Michigan. You worked in Detroit, Pontiac, Grand Rapids, Flint and Royal Oak. You would have separate local wages for each of those cities except Royal Oak because they all collect city tax. Royal Oak however does not. If however, you work in Detroit, but live in Royal Oak, you will have taxes taken out only for Detroit. (Yes, you still have to pay city taxes even though you don't live there.)
