Yes. They don't have anything like baloney here in Vietnam... So what you do is take a hot dog and slice it into 1/16" slices on a slice of bread. We also can't get Miracle Whip here, so I use French mayonnaise and mustard (it's American mustard). It'll do for now.
I LOVE to make a white breaded sandwich with bologna and sourcream and onion chips on it , also Miracle Whip and cheese on it, too;)
I like bologna, but I'm not addicted to it.
You mean ghetto Pate? Love the stuff...
No, in fact, I don't think it's touched my mouth since childhood! More for you. :)
I can't stand bologna, but I enjoy a good smoked ham...
yes,it does taste good, but I'm not addicted to it
I usually don't like bologna, at least the cheap kind. But occasionally, when I'm feeling in the need of a simple child-like comfort food I will buy some very good German bologna from the deli and take it home. I'll make up some sandwiches or even fry a thick slice for my sandwich:-)
I must say I'm not a fan of the stuff... I personally can't get enough turkey, lettuce and tomatoe sandwiches Mmmmmm

How'd you end up in Vietnam?
by Anonymous on March 11th, 2008
Long story. I should make up a question to describe it. It involved a girl but I ended up liking to work here. I don't know the language. I suddenly became apolitical (read my profile and you'll understand why). Even though I don't speak Vietnamese, I get along OK.

I think we have all been there in different degrees. Its amazing how well we can fare in other places with out knowing the lanquage.

Quite right. But I was sort of thrown by "California conservative Republican". I didn't think that kind existed anymore...
