If I can make it out, I do.
Otherwise, I try to skip it.

If a single word is misspelled, I may note the correct spelling in my answer (Not to be mean, but to inform).

I would still try to understand the question, then reply to it.

There are so many people who can't spell, but that doesn't mean they don't have questions or problems they need answering.

If there is a simple typo, yes I'll answer it. If it is "text" talk and I have to try to read it more than once or twice to understand it then no I won't. Simple typo's are at least understandable. Text talk, in my opinion, is fine for texting, but for AB, I believe you can take the time to spell out the words.

It makes me think the asker is uneducated and I find myself speaking to him/her like they were a child.

i try not to judge, but a lot of people either don't care or they are really really bad at the english language. some are so bad i can't even make out what they are saying. God help this country in the future.

You can tell a grammatical/spelling error from pure lazyness and an absence of any will to try to construct a regular sentence.

I am not perfect myself, far from it, so I do not hold grammar or spelling mistakes against the person who asked the question and will answer it as best I can. If on the other hand a person uses text speak, or appears to purposefully misspell words, I will probably ignore it.

If i can still understand it, I would. If its a minor typo, then yes I definitely would, though if it's really confusing, esp. when it's asked in 'txt talk' I usually just ignore it and skip it. Not that I'm anti-text talk --I myself use it when I'm emailing, etc.-- but I don't think AB's the right place to use it.
