I have a vertical shadow (top of screen to the bottom) about 1/2 " wide on the extreme left hand side of the screen on my 50" Samsung DLP. The shadow gets darker half way up the screen . Seems to be getting worse.

the light tunnel is failing inside the light engine, common failure in dlp sets. On some models this part can be replaced but others require the engine to be replaced
