My mom hated "Rock You Like a Hurricane" and "When I Think About You I Touch Myself".

My parents hated EVERYthing I listened to! They were sort of stuck in their era and simply didn't like my music which really was just Top 40 stuff!

My Mom "banned" Elton John's "Bitch is Back" (or so she thought), from the house, when she 1st heard me playing it. But, I wasn't gonna waste my $3.99 I spent on the album, (which I still have)!

The Batman Theme...:-D... I drove my Mom nuts by playing it over and over and over and over and over...etc. when I was about 5 years old....;-D.. . . .

When I was growing up in the 80s, I liked Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)", but my parents thought Anni-Lennox was either a transvestite or a lesbian, so they kept discouraging me from listening to that song. They told me I should listen to someone who sounded like a woman, rather than a man!! :)

They were pretty much against anything that didn't come with a dobro, a Southern accent, and a theme involving cattle or trailer parks.
