When you have spilt salt, which hand and shoulder are to be used?

    You are supposed to throw it over your left shoulder, I don't think it matters which hand you use. This site has a brief explanation of where this superstition comes from- http://jksalescompany.com/dw/superstitions.html

    My family has always thrown it over our right shoulder...there goes our luck haha

    actually most of the time we do it over both just to make sure
