Not for a long, long time. Of course, as a type II diabetic, I can't have them anyway...

- What causes diabeticys is it eating sugar? I haven't had a soda in a year now and i drank soda to much than you should and not anought water but i quit.

- Type II diabetes sets in when the body develops a resistance to insulin. Nobody knows exactly what causes it, but risk factors include obesity and family history... of which I have both.

- That is not cool or fun, so it is a lot to do with genitics if your parents or grandparents had it and your diet and life style and if you workout my uncle got it and he is skinny and allways had been and my aunt his wife is really heavy and she is health according to the doctor she is health and he is not what is up with that you would figure it would be the otherway around.

- You'd think so, but genetics does seem to play more of a factor than diet. I got it from my mother, and it runs in her family (though she's actually a Type 1 diabetic, though it wasn't diagnosed until she was past her 65th birthday, and was mistaken for type 2 for a while...).

Every Christmas they are on my list of favorites. I bake all kinds of treats and make up little gift plates of treats to share with friends.
