  • No. Take your lumps like a man and quit whining.
  • Thanks, Daryl. Always trying to figure a way to beat the system. We do this all the time with hispanics. if they have a drivers license from mexico, the middle name is sometimes the first name and the first name is usually the last. its a puzzle and we make mistakes. it all can be corrected in traffic court. We do a lot of eye witnessing in traffic court. meaning his first name was his last name, but seeing him in court is positive identification, no matter how his name is spelled on the citation. The tickets are still valid.
  • Well thanks for the input guys, I actually ended up getting a lawyer and getting the charge dropped. It seems that there is some kind of a "backseat" rule in the county in SD that I was in that I had never heard of. Im not sure how it all works, but I am definitely glad that I paid the money for him. I know a minor doesn't really seem like much, but anything you can possibly get off your record helps when it comes time to get a job when I graduate college. I think the judge might have felt a little sorry for me cause I was turned 21 like 4 days before I went to court....haha, damn kids anyway. Thanks again for the input guys.
  • Stop doing stupid things and try acting like a MAN! Own up to your responsibilities and start doing the right things ..... starting with paying your OWN traffic tickets. And by the way, if you are going to be a MAN you don't let your father take the rap for your stupidity. Drinking and driving are a deadly combination.
